THE AVETT BROTHERS MANIFEST THEIR NEW RECORD NATIONWIDE:

National Album Release Party Friday, July 30th
New Single ³Swept Away²: 8TH Most Added Track at CMJ Chart

"As with most things extraordinary, putting the appeal of The Avett Brothers into words is difficult at best, and to try and categorize them is a futile assignment. There is a charisma to this trio that makes them impossible to forget, and like the game of hockey, seeing them "LIVE" will forever imprint them onto you favorites list."
-John Hancock, WBT AM/FM Radio,Charlotte, NC

³The Avett's rough-hewn charm gives their music a sense of delight and excitement rarely found in the offerings of the normal run-of-the-mill alt-country bands on today's scene . . . sound like two young brothers who have listened to The Violent Femmes, The Ramones and The Beatles, and that's a good thing.²
                                                                                                                               -BJ Weikert, Rockzilla.net

"They are one of the most unique acts I'd caught in years. The music, which they write themselves, combines influences of acts like The Band and The Kingston Trio with countless other retro and contemporary shadings.²
-Phil Sweetland, contributor for The New York Times

³ . . .exudes much of the same exhilarating sense of discovery that characterized Uncle Tupelo's March 16-20, 1992 and the Gourds' Dem's Good Beeble. It¹s as if the Concord, NC-based Avetts stumbled upon a stack of recordings from fellow brothers the Stanleys and the Louvins just a week before.
                -Rick Cornell, No Depression Magazine
