From Kentucky to Europe With Support:

Blake Stamper En Route To The Troops

(Nashville, TN)‹HBM Recording artist Blake Stamper is packing up and shipping out of his Kentucky home to join the overseas troops this summer. Blake will begin a two weeklong stint June 23rd thru July 6th jetting around Germany for special performances for stationed US Troops. Among his stops will be the 293rd Base Support Battalion in Mannheim and the Air Force base in Geilenkirchen.

Just finishing off a hectic week visiting with fans at the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair, Stamper¹s visit will pack in nine performances in just under two weeks for the Germany based military troops stationed throughout Germany. Stamper¹s first trip to Europe will no doubt be the highlight of his summer.

Stamper says of the AFE (Armed Forces Entertainment) tour, ³It¹s probably one of the biggest honors of my life to be asked to entertain the troops over there; I can¹t think of a better way to spend my time. Being from Kentucky, and near Ft. Campbell I am always aware of the military presence, their families, and in general, their tremendous sacrifice.  The only pressure is to put on the best shows I possibly can; everyone over there deserves at least that from me.²

Once back from his European jaunt, Stamper will gear up for heavy promotion of his new single, ³The Way Back to Texas². The self-penned tune chronicles a love gone sour. The title track is the second release from Blake¹s debut album released January of this year. The first single off The Way Back to Texas, the tongue-in-cheek hit ³Hickabilly Beat² was a top thirty staple on the Texas Music Chart and made a six week run on the Music Row Chart. A tour supporting the second single will focus Stamper¹s efforts on his Southeastern fan base this summer/fall.
