Entertainment in conjunction with The Country Music Hall of Fame® and
Museum will be hosting a press conference at the main entrance of the
Museum Tuesday, June 8, 2004 at 9:30 am. The press conference will be
announcing Gold Leaf Corporation¹s first public appearance of The Spirit
of Liberty Chopper. The bike will be on a three day exhibition at the
museum during this year¹s CMA Music Festival, June 8-10.
The Spirit of Liberty
Chopper, entirely plated in copper from the original Statue of Liberty,
was built by the famed Orange County Choppers¹ Teutel family and
documented on Discovery Channel¹s #1 rated show American Chopper. A very
special guest will drive the chopper down Nashville¹s Music Row to the
front steps of the Museum for the press conference kick off.
The Chopper will be on
display in the Museum¹s Curb Conservatory from Tuesday, June 8 through
Thursday, June 10. Admission to view the chopper will be free and open to
the public. Rick Stocks, President and CEO of Gold Leaf Corporation and
commissioner of the Liberty bike, said ³With the responsibility of
representing the freedom and liberty of our country comes the unique
obligation to make it available to everyone. The Spirit of Liberty Chopper
will never directly charge a fee for viewing.²
