KEN MELLONS TO
APPEAR AT THE BLUE TWANG MUSIC FESTIVAL
(Nashville, Tenn.) –
Country music recording artist Ken Mellons will perform at the Blue Twang
Music Festival to help raise money for the Fraternal Order of Police.
Mellons, who recently released his new album, Sweet, will join
three other bands on September 25 in Smyrna, Tenn., to kick-off the first
annual festival.
The money that is raised will
be used to help pay legal fees for police officers, go to the DARE
program, and Shop With a Cop. The FOP will also use the money to
assist officers in need, and to the families of officers who are killed in
the line of duty, in order to pay for flowers, funerals, and medical
bills.
The festival will be held rain
or shine at the Smyrna Municipal Airport in a covered facility.
Nastychopper motorcycles and their
calendar girls will be present, and Krooza Kustoms will be there with
their choppers. There will also be a special appearance by the Cody bike
from Orange County Choppers.
Soft drinks, pizza, beer,
barbecue, hot wings and much more will be for sale in the concert area.
Showtime is set for 6 pm, and the gates open at 3 pm.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the gate. Call
