IT’S ANOTHER WILD BREAKFAST AT THE WILDHORSE SALOON

(Nashville, Tenn.) – The Nashville Association of Talent Directors (NATD) is set to host their annual complementary breakfast at the Wildhorse Saloon, Wed., Oct. 13 – in honor of the iebalive! 2004 conference.  iebalive! 2004 is an annual entertainment industry conference put on by the International Entertainment Buyers Association –and held in Nashville from Sunday October 10th through Wednesday, October 13th.    Hundreds of entertainment industry professionals from Performing Arts Centers, Casinos, Fairs and Festivals will be in town to learn and grow at this conference.

Doors open at 8:30 AM on Wednesday for the famous NATD breakfast.  Food is served up at 9:00 and the program is set to run until 10:30.   Included will be a special concert by legendary rock group Air Supply and scholarships that will be awarded to two deserving Belmont students; Kimberly Howell and Melissa Rau.  Awards to be presented are: the Talent Director of Year Award, The Hubert Long Award, and the rarely given Colonel Tom Parker Award; all of which will be presented by different surprise celebrities.

This year’s event will undoubtedly follow the success of previous year’s breakfasts, which have included performances by Crystal Gayle, The Bellamy Brothers, Rhonda Vincent, The Pajama Party – starring Deborah Allen, The Kinleys and Michelle Wright and many more.  Surprise guest presenters have included LeAnn Rimes, Tim McGraw, Trick Pony, Ray Stevens, Porter Wagoner, Clay Walker, Tracy Lawrence, Mark Chesnutt and more..

NATD – The Nashville Association of Talent Directors, which was started in 1958, is the oldest music trade organization in Nashville.  Originally formed to identify bad buyers and connect the local Nashville talent agencies, today NATD has turned into a vibrant continuing education organization.  Their monthly lunch meetings present speakers and topics on various state of the art subjects in the entertainment industry including:  XM Radio, eBay and more.  A current lunch crowd boasted over 1,325 years of combined experience in the music industry – talk about a power lunch!

NATD is currently headed by President Ed Bazel, first Vice-President Bonnie Sugarman, and second Vice-President Rod Harris. This breakfast is a great opportunity for those interested in joining NATD (both people who are already working in the music industry and those who are interested in entering the industry) to meet current members, network and see how joining would be beneficial. Those interested in joining, but can’t attend the breakfast are welcome to come to any one of their lunch meetings. These meetings are every second Tuesday of the month at 11:30 am at Nick & Rudy’s restaurant. Membership dues are $100 a year. Students interested in joining will receive a special discounted rate of only $25.

This event is free to all music industry professionals, college students and others interested in joining NATD.  For more information about the breakfast contact Ed Bazel at 615.847.1104 or Allison Crews at 327.0100.  www.n-a-t-d.com
