FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Songstress Regina
Belle Taking Center Stage at the “Pantene Total You Tour” in Chicago
Grammy winning artist Regina Belle will take the spotlight in the Windy
City on Saturday, March 5th with a live performance during the
Pantene Total You Tour (PTYT) at Chicago’s McCormick Place. It’s part of
a nationwide effort to help African-American women realize their holistic
beauty through positive transformation of the mind, body and spirit.
Regina will be among a star-studded lineup featuring recording star
Yolanda Adams, two-time Grammy nominee MC Lyte, fitness guru
Donna Richardson, actress/comedienne Myra J., America’s Next Top Model
winner Eva, and Tangela Smith of the Women’s National Basketball
Association’s (WNBA). A special keynote address will be delivered by
Susan L. Taylor of Essence Magazine.
The day-long event will include the
PTYT forum where celebrity panelists give personal tips and advice related
to women’s holistic health. Participants will also receive pampering
during the wellness expo which features makeovers, hair color
consultations, manicures, product demonstrations and sample giveaways.
The expo offers attendees an opportunity to meet the celebrity
panelists/performers and get advice as well as autographs.
In
addition to Chicago, The Pantene Total You Tour is scheduled to visit
Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Detroit, Houston, New York, Philadelphia and
Washington, D.C.
Belle hopes that, in addition to exploring
PTYT, fans will check out her latest CD, Lazy Afternoon. "I
think when they hear it they'll say, 'We always knew she was going to do
this,'" she says. "I really think if they listen, they'll be able to feel
what it is I was feeling when I was in the studio with these cats. The
goal was to really combine the R&B and jazz stuff, just mesh it together
and make it work. I'm hoping they'll be appreciative of my efforts."
Tickets to the expo can be purchased at all TicketMaster outlets or by
calling (312) 559-1212. You can get them online by visiting:
www.ticketmaster.com.
Doors at McCormick Place are set to open at 11 a.m. The show begins at 1
p.m.
