Brandon Collins’ “Blame It on Nashville” Music Video to Premiere on the Country Network on Monday, September 28

The Country Network is set to premiere the music video for Brandon Collins latest single Blame It On Nashville on Monday, September 28 at 9 AM. The debut single was recently released in August and immediately garnered praise from fans and the industry including a spot on the coveted Academy of Country Music’s ACM New Music Friday Playlist on Spotify. Blame It On Nashville is an emotive tune about falling in love and breaking up among the magic of  Music City. Brandon dives deep into the difficulty of getting over an ex when everything around him serves as a constant reminder.

The video was directed by Quinton Cook (Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton and Dustin Lynch) and was captured during the pandemic, which created a unique opportunity and hurdle for Brandon.

When we scheduled the shoot for Blame It on Nashville, it certainly posed challenges as we were faced with managing a video crew while doing our best to ensure social distancing and safety,” recalls Brandon. “On the other hand, because of the quarantine orders, it allowed us to film a nearly barren downtown further capturing the emptiness and downfall of the lyrics.”

About Brandon Collins

Reared on a cattle and alfalfa farm just outside of Oklahoma City, Brandon grew up on a radio dial that was filled with the hits of Kenny Chesney and Tim McGraw.  Throughout his childhood and into his college years, he would traverse through a variety of sports from baseball to racing motocross and even served as a linebacker for the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College.  Those years as an athlete laid the groundwork for his focus on fitness and a healthy outdoor lifestyle.  While he was excelling on the gridiron, he also picked up the guitar and began to hone his songwriting and performance craft. After college, Brandon made the move to the entertainment mecca of L.A. to pursue acting, modeling and music.  He would land campaigns for brands like Marvel, Nike, Samsung and SONY.  In addition, he secured roles on an ION holiday film “A Husband for Christmas” and on hit series like “Law and Order: Special Victims Unit” and “McFarland, USA.” Brandon made the move to Nashville, Tenn. in 2019 and released his industry debut, Blame It on Nashville, under the production of Steve Freeman (Keith Urban, John Mayer, Taylor Swift & Tim McGraw) in August 2020.
