Kate Watson Hits The Highway For Annual Riverfest Events
Port Neches RiverFest – Friday, April 29 / Freeport RiverFest – Saturday, April 30
Breakout vocalist and tunesmith, Kate Watson, will hit the stage at a pair of outdoor RiverFest events for a weekend of fun in the sun along the Texas coast.
The festivals will each feature unique experiences including powerboat racing and a carnival in Port Neches as well as fireworks and cornhole tournaments in Freeport.
“I’m so excited for the opportunity to play two RiverFest events!” says Kate. “I remember my parents saying they attended them when they were growing up and now I’m getting to be the entertainment. I’m ready to rock the stage with my full band and showcase what I love to do!”

Kate recently took home the Future Faces of Country honor at the 12th annual Texas Regional Radio Awards Future Faces Show where she was also nominated for “New Female Vocalist of the Year.” This Lone Star state native is touring in support of her current country radio single, Highway. The song was spotlighted on the Academy Of Country Music’s New Music Friday playlist alongside country superstars Dolly Parton, Jason Aldean, and Kane Brown upon release.

This latest spotlight track was the follow up to the internationally streaming CMT Australia, Apple Music, and Roku featured, Red Lipstick and a Cowboy Hat. Kate is currently preparing to enter the studio in May to record her first full-length debut record.
