Lisa Stewart veers from country credibility to the joy of jazz
With a career that dates back 30 years, singer Lisa Stewart is well-versed in various forms of modern music. She began singing in church as a child and then, when she was eleven, she had the opportunity to perform in a tent show at the Nashville Fan Fair. In 1987, she relocated to Nashville, where she won the Roy Acuff scholarship at Belmont University and found work as a studio singer.
