PLA Media Announces the Addition of Tourism and PR Executive Cindy Dupree

PLA Media is proud to announce the addition of Cindy Dupree to the PLA staff as senior consultant PR/Marketing. Cindy brings a wealth of experience with a background in tourism, having worked more than a decade as communications director/PIO for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development during the Bredesen and Haslam administrations. She has also served as communications director for BMI in New York City and as a music manager, literary agent, and artist development consultant while in the Big Apple.

“Cindy was one of the first people to welcome me to Tennessee and we have always enjoyed a mutual respect for one another,” says PLA Media President Pam Lewis. “She is a perfect strategic addition to our team with her extensive background both in music PR/marketing and management as well as her expertise in the tourism/hospitality industry. Cindy is a great complement to our community outreach on museum and tourism campaigns.”

Additional career highlights include 16 years in the entertainment business in New York City, as well as award-winning film and video producer, including Emmy, NYU Film Festival, and Gospel Music Dove Awards. Cindy co-produced a live-music radio show from Times Square, broadcast on over 200 radio stations nationwide. Cindy has her Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude and Founders Day Award recipient, from New York University.
