PLA Media Founder and CEO, Pamela L. Lewis, Honored With Franklin Tomorrow’s “Volunteer Spirit Award”
On Wednesday, February 7, Franklin Tomorrow hosted their 17th annual “Exemplary Community Volunteer Awards” at the Franklin Theatre in historic downtown Franklin. Nominations included PLA Media‘s founder and CEO, Pamela Lewis, for the “Volunteer Spirit Award.”
Lewis was celebrated for her work with the Battle of Franklin Trust, Bridges Domestic Violence Center, The Arc Williamson County, Franklin Housing Commission, Heritage Foundation of Williamson County, African American Heritage Society, Civil War Historic Commission, Hard Bargain Association, and many other organizations.
This award honors Lewis’ unwavering commitment and dedication to serving her community, exemplifying selflessness and compassion in everything she does. As the 2024 winner, a donation is made in Lewis’ name to a nonprofit of her choice so she can continue impacting change in the greater Nashville area.
“I was one of 16 nominees in this category and was both shocked and pleased to be chosen,” says Lewis. “I have spent my career elevating clients and friends to win recognition and awards. This means the world to me to be honored in this way by a city I moved to 30 years ago and hold so dear. Thank you, thank you, thank you!”
Battle of Franklin Trust Director of Development, Laurie McPeak, stated: “I met Pam in 2014 when I first started with Carnton. I discovered early on that when people need help, Pam steps up and does it automatically. Kindness and service is engrained in her personality. We hope this award inspires others to do the same.”
