PLA Media’s 30th Year Rolls On With New Branding, Website

PLA Media has been through a myriad of changes since its founding in 1985 by industry icon Pam Lewis. New artists have been discovered, new technologies have been adapted, new employees have been welcomed, and still – in this ever-changing industry – the award-winning publicity and marketing company has continued to thrive. Now PLA is celebrating its 30th year in business by treating itself to a well-deserved makeover featuring new branding and a new website.

“The key to success is hiring people smarter than you are,” says Lewis. “When I started this business, I didn’t think decades later we’d still be going strong. I am very humbled and grateful to my clients, staff and media colleagues.”

Spearheaded by PLA’s in-house designer Matt Williams, who joined the team last year, the new look is reflective of the company’s style and culture.

“I wanted the look to be fun and colorful, but also classic and professional,” says Williams. “Ultimately, I wanted it to convey the great work we do and the fun we have doing it.”

The Website

Now boasting a bright, colorful template, the new website showcases PLA’s best work alongside case studies, testimonials from clients and fun facts about its employees. Plenty of general information can be found on the homepage, with greater detail unraveling as one easily navigates the rest of the site. Going forward, the website will not be a stagnant presentation, but an evolving landscape of PLA’s work.

“As with the nature of this industry, the website will be a living organism, and our goal will be to stay at the forefront of design and information sharing,” says Lewis.
