Bursting with joy and spirit-moving holiday music, Platinum Planet Records is premiering the soundtrack for The Farmer and the Belle Saving Santaland on Tuesday, November 17 to coincide with the film’s DVD and streaming release. Available on Amazon, iTunes and all major online retailers, the Saving Santaland soundtrack features performances by Justin Peters, Rhonda Vincent, John Schneider, Beckah Shae, Tobi Lee and many others. The spotlight single Santaland, which features vocalists Justin Peters and Grand Ole Opry member Rhonda Vincent, opens this film starring Jenn Gotzon and Jim E. Chandler alongside Corbin Bernsen, John Schneider and Natasha Bure.
“I love it! It’s gonna be a Christmas classic,”
Rhonda Vincent
”My favorite memory throughout creating the soundtrack was being on set and seeing the lyrics to Santaland everywhere you went. Jenn Gotzon had put ‘em up in the makeup room, the lunchroom, the bathroom, you name it. Even the crew had learned the song. It made it quite special when we filmed the whole cast singing it,” recalls Justin Peters, a writer and performer of the song who also serves as executive producer of the soundtrack and the president of Platinum Planet Records.
“We appreciate Justin Peters’ talent as a songwriter and musician with all the artists he performed with for our family, Christmas movie,” says co-star, Jim E. Chandler, who stars as lead actor Josh Carpenter in the film.
“The festive song Santaland is so jazzy and catchy. It’s a must to add to your Christmas collection. It was so fun having Santaland be caroled by the folks attending the Santaland festivities” says Jenn Gotzon, who stars as lead actress Belle Winters in the film.
The festive soundtrack compliments the family friendly Christmas film teeming with holiday spirit, love and faith. The Farmer and the Belle Saving Santaland tells the story of a famous model (Jenn Gotzon) who returns to her hometown and reconnects with a local farmer (Jim E. Chandler) and his daughter. Together, they join the fight to save the town’s beloved Santaland festival.

“A lot to love about this script, especially Belle & her intriguing back story.”
Brian Bird, Co-creator of Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart
“The fact that the story is based on true events adds to its appeal. Saving Santaland has a strong Christian, biblical worldview. Its message stresses on finding your worth from the truth of God rather than the standards of the world. Also, several scenes showcase prayer, the true meaning of Christmas, and the value of public confession and repentance”
