The Young Fables Return To Laurel Wright’s High School To Deliver A Personal Message On The Impact Of Addiction

Concert to Benefit JourneyPure Serenity Network on August 26

The Young Fables, an emerging leader on the modern traditional country scene, will return to lead vocalist Laurel Wright’s high school, William Blount High School, to share her family’s personal story of addiction via an in-school assembly on Friday, August 24 followed by a concert benefitting JourneyPure Serenity Network on Sunday, August 26.

The Young Fables will start their hometown engagement with an in-school assembly on Friday, August 24, where they will share their personal stories of addiction and perform songs from their latest album, Old Songs. That evening, they will sing the National Anthem before the homecoming football game kicking off at 7:15 PM ET. The weekend will cap off with a concert on Sunday, August 26 at 6 PM ET benefitting the JourneyPure Serenity Network. The concert is located at the Patricia Lane Theatre within the William Blount High School, 219 County Farm Road, Maryville, TN. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the school’s front office during school hours, during the homecoming game and at the door. The Young Fables are currently on the road promoting their latest project Old Songs. Old Songs, produced by Grammy Award-winning Mitch Dane, is a ten track project where all songs were either written or co-written by The Young Fables. The music video for Half As Good, the lead single off Old Songs, premiered on CMT Music on May 30. Throughout their promotion of this project, they have also premiered video content with AXS and Pop Culture. Most recently, The Young Fables made their official CMA Fest debut meeting fans and performing on the Spotlight Stage inside Fan Fair X and at the World Famous Wildhorse Saloon.
